Our Opportunities The Experiences We Give Our Dancers
Creative Motion School of Dance has always strived to give the dancers opportunities to learn and grow inside and outside the studio. From community performances at nursing homes, in local parades, and local festivals (Sacred Heart Fall Festival, Fermentation Fest, Living Windows), to participating in Relay for Life and hosting a food drive for the local food pantry, to attending workshops and conventions, to traveling to New York, Orlando and Chicago to perform, we have something fun and exciting for our dancers to participate in year after year.
Our latest trip was to Orlando, FL in October of 2016 where we spent 5 days and 4 nights at Disney's Pop Century Resort. Our group had a 4-day Park Hopper for the Disney World theme parks to ride all the rides and take in the shows. Our group was also treated to a Private Character Breafast at Hollywood Studios with VIP Access to Rockin' Rollercoaster (riding BEFORE the park opened!) AND, we enjoyed a Private Pizza and Beach Party at Typhoon Lagoon (AFTER the park closed). Our trip was wrapped up with two performances at Disney Springs where the dancers earned their Disney Performing Arts ears!
Farm Art D-Tour
We were busy in October of 2016! The organizers of the Farm Art D-Tour, part of our annual Fermentation Fest, asked our dancers to be a pasture performance for the opening weekend of the Tour. Due to a rainy fall, we were unable to perform in the pasture, but we did perform at one of the stops along the route. The dancers had an opportunity to get an early performance of their competition pieces in AND we had a mini photo shoot to be a part of future advertisements for the Tour!
More Coming Soon!
